Women's Winternship

<p>This January 2027, we will host our annual Women's Winternship at Virtu Singapore. Our Winternship program offers students an exciting inside view into the world of global trading and the impact Virtu has on the global financial markets. As a Wintern, you will learn about how we trade at Virtu, our technology and trading tools and even work on your own trading project - all while mentored by experts in the industry.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>If you work hard as an individual and a collaborator and have the constant curiosity to ask the question "why", then this program is right for you!</p> <p><strong><u>OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAM</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Dates: 4th to 8th January 2027, hosted in our Singapore office</li> <li>Daily team-based trading puzzles that will build toward a team capstone project presented at the end of the week (Prizes to the winners!)</li> <li>Training on market-making fundamentals paired with immersive exercises using the tools of expert traders at Virtu&nbsp;</li> <li>Meeting and networking with senior traders, developers and leadership&nbsp;</li> <li>Fun social events such as dinners, shows, and more!&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS</u>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exceptional female talent at second and third year level</li> <li>Excellent academic background (all subjects welcome) with preference for Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics</li> <li>Outstanding quantitative problem‐solving skills and mathematical aptitude</li> <li>Intermediate/ Advanced programming experience (Python preferred)</li> <li>A highly motivated team player:&nbsp;Genuine, well rounded, curious, collaborative person who can work towards collective goals</li> <li>Interest in a career in financial services</li> <li>Graduating year of 2028 or 2029</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>THE PROCESS</u></strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>After applicants pass an initial resume screening, an online programming test may be sent via email.
