The team contributes directly to investment outcomes by providing portfolio insights, market analysis and forward-looking investment recommendations, aligned with Anthos’ Responsible Investment (RI) strategy.</p> <p>The team consists of analysts with deep expertise in a primary asset class and a strong understanding of adjacent asset classes, ensuring broad analytical coverage across portfolios. ISR works closely with Portfolio Management, the Responsible Investment function and Client Advisory &amp; Solutions.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong><br>As a Working Student/Junior Investment Analyst, you will contribute to asset class and cross-asset research, with a primary focus on Private Equity and Multi-Asset Impact Investing. You will act as a key link between ISR and portfolio management teams, supporting investment decision-making through structured analysis, market insights and portfolio monitoring.</p> <p>You will also contribute to thematic and top-down research projects that cut across asset classes, including responsible investing integration, impact measurement and strategic innovation topics.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform ex-ante and ex-post analysis of portfolio and investment performance across return, risk and impact dimensions, identifying key drivers of performance</li> <li>Support investment selection, allocation and portfolio construction, including ESG and impact integration</li> <li>Analyse portfolio characteristics such as allocations, concentration, costs, and regional and sub-asset class exposures</li> <li>Provide insights on risk and performance metrics across financial and ESG/impact dimensions</li> <li>Monitor and analyse global economic and financial market developments across private and listed markets</li> <li>Contribute to forward-looking assessments of market opportunities, risks and expected returns</li> <li>Support investment due diligence, including manager research, documentation and analysis of investment structures</li> <li>Review external databases to identify prospective investment managers</li> <li>Analyse and review legal documentation (e.g. LPAs, prospectuses)</li> <li>Maintain and enhance management information and client reporting</li> <li>Contribute to ESG screenings and impact performance assessments</li> <li>Support the development and improvement of analytical tools, systems and processes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience &amp; Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master’s degree in Econometrics, Finance, Economics, Physics, Accounting or a related field</li> <li>0–3 years of experience in asset management, investment research, or a fund-of-funds / manager selection environment</li> <li>Strong interest in private markets (private equity, venture capital, private credit) and solid understanding of listed markets</li> <li>Demonstrated interest in investing and financial markets</li> <li>Strong affinity with responsible and impact investing</li> <li>Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and data-handling skills</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with VBA, Python or similar tools is a plus</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>CFA (or similar) completed or in progress is an advantage</li> <li>Fluent in English; Dutch and/or German is a plus</li> <li>Valid EU work permit</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal Profile</strong></p> <ul> <li>Curious, structured and proactive</li> <li>Collaborative, with the ability to work across teams</li> <li>Able to balance independent execution with team alignment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p> <ul> <li>Reporting line: Head of ISR</li> <li>Full-time position</li> <li>Initial one year contract with intention to extend to a permanent contract</li> <li>Online assessment as part of the process</li> <li>Reference checks and pre-employment screening apply</li> </ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
