We’re still a family-owned business!</p> <p>A Yard Technician maintains, cleans, organizes, and inspects heavy construction equipment to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and cleanliness. This position is part of the IOUE Local No. 17C&nbsp;<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>union.</strong></span></p> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform specific tasks associated with the cleaning of equipment and maintenance of company facilities.</li> <li>Use pressure washer and steam cleaner to wash equipment. Performing detailed cleaning of purchased equipment before delivery.</li> <li>Perform detailed cleaning of purchased equipment before delivery.</li> <li>Move equipment from one location to another as needed.</li> <li>Change attachments on new and rental equipment.</li> <li>Pick up and deliver parts using a company vehicle.</li> <li>Order supplies needed for wash rack and keep area clean of debris.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Possess good communication skills- oral &amp; written.</li> <li>Ability to work well with co-workers, and customers to perform your duties in a safe manner.</li> <li>Basic computer knowledge.</li> <li>Possession of a current and valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets the insurance requirements.</li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Operating equipment, forklift and delivery truck.</li> <li>Forklift certified a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Union Health &amp; Welfare, and Pension package included: </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Lifetime Career</li> <li>Union Representation</li> <li>Good Wages</li> <li>Family Health Care</li> <li>Health Reimbursement Account Pension/Retirement Plan Training</li> </ul> <p>Monroe Tractor is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
