Responsibilities of the Year 5 Teacher:
- As a Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care and academic progress of pupils, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum to Year 5 pupils, focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and addressing areas for growth.
- Developing literacy and numeracy skills through well-structured, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
- Supporting students’ social and emotional development, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitoring pupils’ progress, providing feedback, and communicating with parents regarding their child’s development.
