About the role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Year 5 teacher to join our team at a superb school in Slough starting January 2025.

Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure academic growth
- Implement and uphold school policies and procedures, fostering a positive and safe learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a strong sense of community within the phase and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries
- Participate in regular professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a Year 5 teacher
- Excellent knowledge of the primary education curriculum and current teaching methods
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to learn and implement new teaching strategies
- High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
