About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Host 4 long-form YouTube videos per month
- Develop engaging YouTube topics and storylines
- Be comfortable on camera and acting as the face of the channel
- Work closely with the videographer/editor to: Structure the episodes / Ensure strong pacing and storytelling / Keep videos engaging for long watch times
- Be present in person in New York (134 Morgan Ave, Brooklyn) for filming
- Bring ideas for YouTube series and formats
- Continuously test what works with the audience
- Help shape the personality and voice of the channel
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Genuine bike enthusiast
- Curious about different brands and models
- Excited about e-Bike culture and mobility
- Charismatic and engaging
- Comfortable speaking for 30+ minutes
- Able to explain complex things in a simple way
- Natural storytelling ability
- Not corporate
- Able to take strong viewpoints
- Funny, engaging, authentic
- Comfortable filming in different environments
- Willing to ride bikes, test products, and interact with customers
- Open to experimentation while we build the channel
